Deweese Wolfe shared this bedroom for decades with his wife, Elsie Louise Wolfe. Since she passed away a few years ago, he has slept in a different room. Deweese built the house and the wooden frames that cover the bed. Pictures of his children and a black and white portrait of his mother, Eva Awee Wolfe, a well-known basket weaver, lie on top of the cotton comforter.
